Founded in 2016, by former dental executive and dentist, Dr. Anita O. Imadomwanyi, Sweet Tooth Shoppe (STS) was originally established in Dallas, Texas (where she was born and raised), to curate artisanal collections of designer desserts and confectionery for the metroplex leading restaurants, bistros, and corporations. This meant, Anita wore several aprons, both in and out of the kitchen as a dentist, cuisine curator, and philanthropist by day, and as a pastry chef by night. It would remain that way until 2021, when she moved to Canada, newly married and with hopes of starting a family with her husband, Davidé. Now having retired from chair-side dentistry and with a growing family of four, she has focused her passion for the confluence of art and design in baking, full-time. What started as creating a collection of gourmet pies, brownies, tarts and specialty cakes, has now expanded to an assortment of gourmet cookies, old-fashioned donuts, designer cookies, bouqcakes, and more. Influenced by her Texas roots and her travels throughout the U.S., Anita brings a bonafide, authentic taste of American-style desserts to Canada.

We believe in Charitable Giving to benefit the greater good of our local community and beyond. Giving Back is something that Anita has been personally connected to from childhood and will always be a part of our business. Thus, a portion of proceeds from our sales every month will be donated to various charities, near and dear to Anita’s heart, like Sick Kids Foundation, Sickle Cell Foundation and Horizons For Youth. It’s our We Bake. You Smile initiative and a way of Baking-It-Forward. We are also committed to hosting periodic bake sales to raise funds as well as donate our time and talents for these charities.
